How VoiceCloner works, voice permissions, external processing, and support.

What VoiceCloner does

VoiceCloner is a web tool for creating an AI voice from an authorized recording and generating speech from text. You can upload MP3, WAV, or M4A samples, or record in the browser. For a starting sample, we recommend 30 to 120 seconds of clear speech from one person.

The website handles the interface, accounts, credits, and file workflow. Speech processing uses external voice services, including MiniMax for voice cloning. We do not describe their internal models as our own technology. Similarity, pronunciation, and generation time vary; listen to the result before publishing it.

Using voices responsibly

Use your own voice or get explicit permission from the speaker. A paid plan does not provide rights to someone else's voice. Character presets have separate source and license requirements; check the official links on each character page before using the output.

Do not use the service for deceptive impersonation, fraud, harassment, or bypassing voice authentication. The Terms of Service explain these restrictions.

Guides, support, and data handling

Our blog covers recording preparation, voice selection, and consent checks. Articles are published under the VoiceCloner name. Technical claims and platform rules should be checked against their linked sources; contact us if you find an error.

Audio is processed by our service and the external providers needed for generation. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion information. Current offers and limits are shown on the pricing page.

For product questions, deletion requests, or reports of unauthorized voice use, email support@voicecloner.org. Include the relevant page or file reference, but do not send passwords or payment details.
